1. Double-hung windows

What all of this has to do with streaks

Here is the part most guides skip. A streak is almost never a failure of technique — it is dissolved minerals left behind when water dries on glass.

Municipal water and, especially, well water across Georgina, Pefferlaw and rural East Gwillimbury carry a high mineral load. When that water dries on a pane, the water evaporates and the calcium and magnesium stay. That is a spot.
